1. What is roll film?
Roll film is a continuous flexible packaging material wound on a core. It is designed for automatic filling and sealing machines, improving packaging efficiency compared to pre-made bags.
2. What materials are roll films made of?
Roll films are typically multi-layer laminates such as BOPP/CPP, PET/PE, PET/Alu/PE (high barrier for pet food), or PA/PE (for vacuum packaging). The outer layer provides printability and durability, the middle layer adds barrier properties, and the inner layer enables heat sealing.
3. Can roll film be customized?
Yes. Custom options include material structure (high-barrier, transparent, recyclable mono-material), printing (gravure for high volumes, digital for low MOQs from 1,000 units), and roll dimensions (width, thickness, length) to fit your packaging machine.
